East Coast Summer Fleet Meet

at Woodbridge & Tidemill Yacht Harbour

Join fellow Nelson Boat Owners Club members for a relaxed summer gathering in the beautiful riverside town of Woodbridge, Suffolk. Whether you're arriving by boat or by car, everyone is welcome to take part in as much or as little of the weekend as they wish.

Nestled on the banks of the River Deben, Woodbridge offers excellent cruising, fantastic food and a friendly atmosphere—making it the perfect setting for an informal NBOC get-together.

Weekend Programme

Saturday 25 July

Arrival, Drinks & Safari Supper

We'll be arriving on the morning tide before settling into the marina. In the evening we'll meet for pre-dinner drinks followed by a relaxed Safari Supper, with members sharing courses between boats. Full details will be organised once we know who's attending.

Sunday 26 July

The Unruly Pig Social Sunday Lunch

Food lovers won't want to miss this!

We'll take a leisurely walk (or taxi if preferred) to the award-winning The Unruly Pig for their renowned Social Sunday Sharing Menu.

• Time: Approximately 2:30 pm

• Cost: £60 per person

• Sharing menu with fellow members

Before lunch we'll stop for a drink aboard HMS Vale, now home to the popular Deben Café. As we'd like everyone to sit together, we'll make a single group reservation.

Monday 27 July

Exclusive Boatyard Tour (Subject to Interest)

If there is sufficient interest, we'll arrange a visit to Woodbridge Boatyard for a behind-the-scenes look at the restoration of the beautiful 26-foot wooden Nelson Miss Moneypenny.

The yard has also carried out work on Katriona, making this an excellent opportunity to see traditional craftsmanship up close and chat with fellow owners.

Coming Without a Boat?

No problem!

Members who aren't arriving by boat are very welcome to join us for any or all of the weekend's activities.

Berth Booking

If you're arriving by boat, please book your berth directly with Tidemill Yacht Harbour as soon as possible. Spaces were available when this event was announced, but early booking is recommended.
